Cheating on hCG Diet Before the 20th Day in P2 (Phase 2 hCG Diet)?

Hi! I am on day 17 in P2 (Phase of Diet). (I am taking   injections) I am 2 pounds away from my loss goal. I have 3 more days of h injections which will take me to day 20. I was told by the clinic to continue the LCD for 3 more days after I stop the injections. The next day I leave for Las Vegas! I plan on TRYING to continue the LCD but add some fats. (I was told-still no starches or sugars for 3 weeks). I can totally do that, no problem. BUT…here is my big dilemma…I cheated on day 15. I mean BIG TIME cheated with A Reeses peanut butter cup blizzard and some Krunchers potato chips. I did not gain any , so far, and lost one more pound. My concern is this… The clinic I go to states that it is EXTREMELY important to NOT cheat on diet during the first 20 days because your hypothalamus is being reset. If you cheat, long-term loss will be affected. Did I just do all of this for nothing? I cannot go through another 23 days on the diet…I am 5′5″ and weigh 125. I could lose about 5 more pounds but then after that would look sickly. Do I need to go through another 23 days to reset my hypothalamus? Help!!

First Day of P3 (Phase 3) and a Bit Nervous…



Hey everyone!! I am so happy to be off P2 (Phase 2)! At the same time though I am also very nervous. What is a normal weight gain on the hCG diet to expect? I know 2lbs= steak day. I’m afraid I might have over-indulged today. I’m going to list out what I ate today, and if you don’t mind please tell me if you think of my hCG diet recipe and if I over-did it!

Breakfast: 2 poached eggs
1 soy sausage patty
1/2 grapefruit w/stevia sprinkle

Lunch: 1 packet of tuna in water w/ 1 teaspoon miracle whip and 1 teaspoon dill relish
Salad w light cheese, mushrooms and dressing made w/ dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice and pepper.

Dinner: Shirataki noodle alfredo (noodles, low fat cream cheese, low fat sour cream, low fat parm cheese)
A few cheese crackers I made from a recipe I saw on here dipped in guacamole

Snack before bed: 1/2 grapefruit w/ stevia sprinkle

It was soooo good! Thanks in advance for your help and opinions!

Help Starting p3 (phase 3 of hCG for hCG Diet Diet) – Don’t Understand!

Hi Guys and Gals I am in need of some help please but first let me explain my current position with my loss. I am 30 years old, about 45 days ago weighed 195Lbs and today my is 163.4Lbs and I couldn’t be happier, I feel great and look awesome, its been at least four years since I was this and all my old clothes that I spent good money on fit perfectly. Anyway, I finished my drops on Friday and I still lost for a couple more days and on Sunday I had a family BBQ so I ate homemade ground beef burgers (no buns) and ribs and had a great time but now I have to officially start Phase 3 and I just don’t know where to turn or start. Right now I am just not hungry but I guess that will pass in the coming days but I am finding it tough to know exactly what to eat or how to go about creating an menu. I understand no carbs or sugars which is fine but its knowing what else to eat and when that’s confusing me. This morning I used a little olive oil to make a three egg omelet with some mushrooms and onions and a piece of cheddar cheese melted into the middle, then for a snack an apple and tonight a piece of trout with peppers and snap peas with a little olive oil and drinking about 4 liters of water along with all this in a day. How does that sound for a meal? Thanks all, this lifestyle change has been amazing, never in my life would I have thought in just over a month I could lose 30lbs….my only worry is keeping it off for p3 (phase 3 of for Diet Diet) and onwards! So I said I wasn’t going to start this thread til Sunday when I start p3 (phase 3 of for Diet), but I got excited today and made some p3 (phase 3 of for Diet) recipes for my dad to try. He and I have very similar tastes so I made him tell me how everything tasted. Today I made 2 p3 (phase 3 of for Diet) Recipes. Cucumber Avocado Gazpacho (Courtesy of Elana’s Pantry) 1 small avocado 1 cucumber, peeled and de-seeded, plus additional cuke for garnish 1 tablespoon onion, minced 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar ¼ teaspoon celtic sea salt ¼ teaspoon chili powder 1 cup water smoked paprika, to garnish 1. Throw avocado, cucumber, onion, oil, lemon juice, vinegar and water in Vita-Mix (or other high speed blender) 2. Puree on high speed until smooth 3. Blend in salt and chili powder 4. Serve, garnishing with extra cucumber cubes and smoked paprika if desired Dad said this was delicious. When I told him I couldn’t have any and it was all for him his eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas morning! The other thing I made today was this, which was really hard to make and not taste! But I didn’t taste one thing! Peach Crisp 6 large peaches, sliced 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 tablespoons coconut flower 1/2 tablespoon xanthan gum 1 ½ cups blanched almond flour ½ teaspoon celtic sea salt ¼ cup grapeseed oil ¼ cup xylitol 1. Place peach slices in a large bowl, sprinkle with lemon juice, vanilla, coconut flower, and xanthan gum; toss to incorporate all ingredients 2. In a smaller bowl, combine almond flour, salt, grapeseed oil and xylitol for topping 3. Place peach mixture in a 3 quart baking dish 4. Crumble topping over peaches 5. Bake covered at 350° for 45 minutes, until peach juice is bubbling 6. Remove cover and bake about 20 more minutes if topping is not yet browned 7. Serve This is an Elana’s Pantry recipe as well, however I took out the arrowroot powder and agave nectar and substituted for xylitol, coconut flower, and xanthan gum. Again, I didn’t get to taste it but my dad said it was a great consistency. I used Bob’s Almond flour which was perfect for this because it makes a courser texture for the crisp on top. My dad had his with whipped cream, I’m making him take it to work tomorrow so I don’t have to see it again! There will be more to come in the days to follow! If anyone wants me to try out an diet recipe let me know!

So I am getting my fridge ready for Phase 3 (P3), and going to pick up some almond milk but before I do, what does it taste like? Is it like drinking liquid almonds? Would hate to throw money away.

Update on Vegas Vacation on Phase 3 (P3)



Hello everyone! Well I made it through…I am sitting at the airport as we speak and haven’t have access to this site for 3 days….TORTURE!!! I love getting advice on here! Anyway, I was super scared about going to vegas for 4 days and eating on Phase 3 (P3) while out there but…I can sucessfully say that I followed protocol ( no drinkg, NOT 1 DRINK or dessert) that is SOOOO huge for me! The first night out here we ate a the RIO buffet ( which is known for their wonderful desserts and I did great but had some supposedly all beef meatablls I was skeptical of all night long sooooo proud of myself, the next morning I was up over 1.5 pounds….FREAKED out and was mad!!! Anyway, I did a protien day on Monday and yesterday mostly ate protien. I hadn’t had a BM in 4 days and finally last night and this morning did and was actually down a VERY lil bit below when I left home. So glad I went and SOOO glad that I followed protocol, it is amazing how much bettter I feel and how proud I am of myself! Glad I took my scales, I know that they would keep me on track and knowing that I wanted to be able to write this on the forum when I got back was great motivation! Thanks for all of your prior advice and your support! You guys are GREAT!!1

HCG Diet Phase 4 : Wondering What the Heck Is Wrong with Me???!!!



Okay I am 3 weeks intoPhase 4 (P4) of my HCG Diet and am hating it. Feel like I am constantly doing high protein or steak days. And I have yet to eat pasta, bread, or cereal.
Saturday I was outside all day in the heat and my head and face got burned. It was 98 degrees. I thought I would be up the next day. I stayed the same.
Sunday, I wanted to eat something tasty and indulged in some cookies and licorice. On Monday I was up to 146.2. Still .4 away from being over the 2 lbs from LIW. So I decided to do a protein day.
I ate eggs for breakfast (they don’t hurt me, and have helped before) 98% fat free turkey slices on lettuce for lunch, and a big steak sandwich for dinner from a steak place. It was a bit salty and alot of meat, but I ate it all. Had string cheese in between lunch and dinner. Drank green tea and water all day.
Woke up this morning and gained 1.6 lbs!! WHY? I am now 147.8, and have not been this high for 5 weeks during the shots.
Was trying to avoid a steak day and now HAVE to do one. I am 3.4 lbs over my LIW. I feel like living in Phase 3 (P3), and never enjoying a meal with my husband, or having anything I really like eating. And getting to the point where I am hating chicken and steak. Please give my advice.
