Homeopathic hCG User – Need Advice Please

LATEST CHAT @ for Diet DIET INFO FORUMS:

Hi there, I’m new to the Diet Info forums, and starting on my second week of homeopathic for Diet spray. I have a situation going on, and I’m not sure what to do: Not counting the gorge days, I have been on the for Diet diet faithfully for nine days today. Days 1 – 3, I lost a total of 10 lbs. Before starting the for Diet diet, I lost 15 lbs on low-carb, so my total loss in six months is 25 lbs on the diet. This might be a factor in what I’m experiencing, which is why I mention it. Days 4 -8, I was stalled. The scale didn’t budge at all even though I slightly increased my calories for the day, and sprayed additionally to help with the hunger cravings. This morning when I woke up and weighed (I’ve had to change my weigh-in time since school started up again and I’m getting up earlier) 2-3 lbs heavier. I went back to bed because I had a headache (without eating or drinking anything) and when I woke up three hours later, I was only 1/2 of a pound over. So the scale is moving now- just in the wrong direction. I think I stalled because my body is, #1, at a unfamiliar to me. I haven’t weighed under 200 lbs in 13 years. And #2, because I’ve lost 25 lbs, and plateaus seem inevitable. I have used Ketostix to make sure I’m burning fat, and they are all dark purple. I’m also wearing five sizes smaller in pants, though they’re a little snug. So I’m happy with the results. I’m just not sure how to get back to losing. My goal is 65 lbs, and I have 40 more to go. I’m only on Day 9 of for Diet, and plan to at least finish the 23 days required. I don’t want to cheat, nor get off the diet, but I am feeling very frustrated. I’ve followed all the protocols, including adding a good multivitamin and watching out for any and all oils, fats, etc., in cosmetics, lotions, food preparation, etc. I drink my and requirements, I weigh my foods raw – I’m doing everything that I’m aware of that I’m supposed to be doing. My homeopathic diet spray seems to be working fairly well, though I am on thyroid replacement meds and knew to expect some hunger (according to my homeopathic lady). There aren’t any doctors in my state who prescribe for Diet, so homeopathic is my only option as far as I know. Any ideas? I’m trying a mini today to see if it will help, and I did buy enough apples to do an apple day if needed. I’m just not sure which one to do, and I need to make a decision fairly quickly. I gained anywhere from 1/2 to 3 lbs yesterday, but I’ve also been stalled for four days beforehand. Is there a when one gains after a stall? Thanks in advance -

hCG Diet – Oral drops Vs. Injectables

You’ve made the decision to follow the hCG diet and now you face your first choice – oral hCG drops vs. injectables?  With a little knowledge, you can determine which form is right for you.
The hCG diet protocol, developed by Dr. Simeons in the 1950’s has not changed since its inception, due to the amazing results achieved by those who follow it correctly. Only one thing has changed – injectable hCG used to be the only choice.  Thanks to advanced technology and our changing times you now have an added choice between that or oral hCG drops (also known as homeopathic hCG). The oral drops are taken with a dropper under the tongue, no more need for needles to be injected into yourself, which alone kept many people from trying the hCG diet.

You may be confused as to if the oral drops are as effective as the injectable hCG. Many hCG centers have claimed that their clients taking the oral drops actually have even more energy and feel fuller than those taking the injectable form. The reported weight loss is just as much as those taking the injectable form.

You will need to know as much as possible before beginning the hCG diet, as following the diet protocol is essential to the program’s success. You must be truly dedicated to losing the weight, or this may not be the diet for you. If you have done the research and are prepared to follow the program, then you will soon be on your way to a healthier, slimmer body!

Oral hCG drops can be ordered online and shipped to your home with no doctors visit required. You’ll experience the same amazing weight loss as with the injectable hCG, but at a much lower cost.

More hCG Tools Review

More hCG Diet Tools—For Cooking!

The next set of hCG tools are for cooking and making cooking on the hCG diet easy.  Some hCG diet items are used in some of the hcg diet recipe books some are used in the free recipes site.  Either way, they cut down on cooking time, make cooking on the hCG diet it easy and healthier.

The George Foremen Grill

What makes this George Foremen Grill a must have is that the plates are removable and it has several grilling plates to choose from.  You can grill enough shrimp, chicken, fish, steak, kabobs, for 4-6 people all on this grill.  The grilling surface is bigger allowing a 2-person meal to be grilled at once.  Meat on one side and grill vegetables on the other.

Bamboo Steamer

This little Bamboo Steamer is wonderful for the hCG diet.  It can steam a chicken breast in 15 minutes, fish and veggies shorter time without oils and butter.  Boiling and microwaving vegetables can cause significant reduction in vitamins, but the Bamboo Steamer locks in flavor and nutrients.  Easy to use, easy to clean.  Healthy cooking and perfect for a small family looking for a no mess no fuss way to fix a meal.

10 inches in diameter, this 2-tier bamboo steamer, with 2 stackable baskets with a domed lip that traps moisture, can be used inside a wok or over a stockpot.

Microwave Onion Cooker

This little gadget cooks onions in the microwave.  Cuts down on the frying onions in the pay thus using grease.  Cooks an onion in 2 minutes, save time and energy and no more tears.  Great taste to add to steaks, stews, soups or anything you need to chopped onions in.

Cook in microwave then slice as hCG diet recipe may call you to do.

On this hCG tools list I would say the Bamboo Steamer and the George Foremen are must haves.  If you don’t like chopping onions and want a better way to sauté without the added butter or grease then the Microwave Onion Cooker you should look into.  Either way these may be purchased for the hCG diet but you will use them for years to come.

hCG Diet Hair Loss

Hair Loss on The hCG Diet

Losing one’s hair can be freighting and a blow to your self-esteem. Two pressing question people ask is “Does the hCG diet cause hair loss?” and “What can I do to stop hCG diet hair loss while dieting.”

To clear up some confusion, using the hCG hormone does not cause hair loss. Hair loss can occur for several reasons; stress, iron deficiency anima, lack of proper vitamin and minerals, medication, diet, and thyroid issues, are just a few reasons.

While on the hCG diet, you are on a 500 calorie diet which may lend itself to a short term reason for hair loss. However, doing the hCG diet for 26 days would not necessarily be the cause of hair loss. There could be preexisting underlying conditions for any sudden loss of hair triggered or exacerbated by the hCG diet, namely, stress, low levels of iron and or thyroid issues. These are generally the top three culprits for sudden hair loss.

Most people want to know what they can do to stop what seems like an abundance of hair loss while on the hCG diet. If you are not under an abnormal amount of stress and until you can go to a doctor and find out if you do have any thyroid issues or are truly iron deficient, you can increase your intake of Biotin and Iron.

Biotin is a B 7 vitamin that helps hair and nails grow when taken orally. DO NOT waste money on Biotin that is contained in skin or hair products, as it is not absorbed through the skin and has little effect. Taking 2-3 grams of Biotin daily should be sufficient curtail hair loss. There is no none toxicity level for Biotin.

Iron is a trace element found in proteins. Iron is responsible for carrying oxygen in the body. The lack of Iron or being deficient in Iron, the body will carry oxygen to what it considers vital to live. Unfortunately, your hair is not vital for life. One over the counter Iron pill should help and would be the maximum unless prescribed by a doctor. Too much Iron can lead to Iron toxicity.

These are quick fixes for hCG diet hair loss, but by no means the end all to be all. There are generally underlying issues to hair loss unrelated to the hCG diet.   For both a conventional and holistic approach to hair loss, the Thyroid Guide to Hair Loss is an excellent book to pick up. Thyroid Guide to Hair Loss can also help you get proper thyroid diagnosis and treatment for hair loss or help you find the underlying cause of hair loss.
