Okay I am 3 weeks intoPhase 4 (P4) of my HCG Diet and am hating it. Feel like I am constantly doing high protein or steak days. And I have yet to eat pasta, bread, or cereal.
Saturday I was outside all day in the heat and my head and face got burned. It was 98 degrees. I thought I would be up the next day. I stayed the same.
Sunday, I wanted to eat something tasty and indulged in some cookies and licorice. On Monday I was up to 146.2. Still .4 away from being over the 2 lbs from LIW. So I decided to do a protein day.
I ate eggs for breakfast (they don’t hurt me, and have helped before) 98% fat free turkey slices on lettuce for lunch, and a big steak sandwich for dinner from a steak place. It was a bit salty and alot of meat, but I ate it all. Had string cheese in between lunch and dinner. Drank green tea and water all day.
Woke up this morning and gained 1.6 lbs!! WHY? I am now 147.8, and have not been this high for 5 weeks during the shots.
Was trying to avoid a steak day and now HAVE to do one. I am 3.4 lbs over my LIW. I feel like living in Phase 3 (P3), and never enjoying a meal with my husband, or having anything I really like eating. And getting to the point where I am hating chicken and steak. Please give my advice.

Hello, I am just starting the diet on my second load day. I have just a couple of questions.

Can you eat Elk, buffalo, or venison while on the diet? It is a very lean meat.

When looking for seasonings what ingrediants must they not include? I am sure sugar is one that it must not have

It says you can use the juice of one lemon a day could you use a Lime? or could you use real lemon juice in a bottle?

What serving size of vegatables do you use?

I know your not supposed to lose lbs in p3 but is anyone still losing? Also, has anyone gone on To p3 for a very short time, then jumped back on p2?

So I have this awesome P2 cookbook with about 300 Recipies in it (Totally saving me in P2, I eat very well, lol)

Tonight I made up the BBQ Sauce recipe, cut a chicken breast in half into two (visually) large cutlets (I find that a large, thin cutlet looks much more filling than a small thick piece of chicken breast) and seasoned it with some Weber Grill Creations Roasted Garlic and Herb Seasoning and threw it on the barbecue.

Along with the chicken cutlet, I sliced off some health pieces of onion (still in ring form) and threw those on to grill too. After the chicken was mostly cooked I liberally basted it BBQ Sauce, and served it on top of the grilled onions, and it was fantastic. It really hit the spot and killed some serious BBQ cravings. Here’s the recipie:

Phase 2 BBQ Sauce:
-3 Oz. Tomato Paste
-1/4 c. Apple Cider Vinegar
-3 TBSP Lemon Juice (I used 1.5 TBSP)
-1 TBSP Hot Sauce (I used Franks Red Hot, good stuff)
-3 Cloves Garlic, crushed and minced
-1/4 tsp. Chili Powder
-Liquid Smoke hickory flavoring, to taste (I didn’t have any, substituted a couple sprays of Bragg’s Aminos)
-1/2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
-1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
-1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
-1 tsp. Chopped Parsley (I substituted some Tone’s Brand Italian Seasoning)
-Stevia to Taste (Try a touch of dark chocolate liquid Stevia for added flavor)
-Cayenne Pepper to taste
-Salt and Pepper to taste
-Water as needed to achieve desired consistency

1) In a small sauce pan, combine all ingredients
2) Mix well, and bring to a boil
3) Reduce heat and simmer for at least 5 Mins. adding a little water to achieve desired consistency and prevent burning

I’m T.J. I’ve been lurking on the forum and soaking up the fantastic information here for a couple weeks. I have made a few posts and figured that I had better introduce myself. My girlfriend stated the HCG a couple months ago, and lost 28 lbs. She’s currently starting on P4, and is about 4 days in. I figured I’d give it a go myself, and I’m currently R1-P2-D14. I’m down 22 Lbs. as of today (Yeah Buddy!! lol) I’m 20 years old, about 5’11, 6’0 on a good day, lol. Here are my losses:

D1 – 258.6 Lbs (Starting Weight, Loading Day 1)
D2 – 258.6 Lbs (Loading Day 2)
D3 – 258.0 Lbs (-0.6)
D4 – 256.2 Lbs (-1.6)
D5 – 252.0 Lbs (-4.2) [WOOT!]
D6 – 248.8 Lbs (-3.2)
D7 – 247.6 Lbs (-1.2)
D8 – 244.6 Lbs (-3.0)
D9 – 243.6 Lbs (-1.0)
D10 – 241.2 Lbs (-2.4)
D11 – 240.4 Lbs (-0.8)
D12 – 238.8 Lbs (-1.6)
D13 – 238.4 Lbs (-0.4)
D14 – 236.6 Lbs (-1.8)

So I’m shooting for 40 Lbs. and had planned on a 40 Day Round, but I’ve very pleased with my losses and I’m doing my best to keep them up. If I can hit my goal in a normal 23-26 Day Round, I’ll be extremely happy. I can’t wait to hit P3 (FREEDOM!! lol)

Well, that’s about it. I’m glad to be here, glad I found the forum, and glad that you guys are able to provide such awesome info to the newbies like me.
